Hanging Heaton Cricket Club

Formed in 1876, Hanging Heaton Cricket Club is a private members club located in the heart of West Yorkshire. Despite the name, members of Hanging Heaton Cricket Club can participate in bowling, snooker, rounders and football and enjoy regular events.

Our cricket team competed in the Heavy Woollen league until 1980 and have contested for champions of the Bradford League, arguably the strongest league in the country, ever since. The team has enjoyed great success, culminating in becoming the first Bradford League club to win the Yorkshire title in 2017 and the ECB National T20 title in 2018. 2018 was, indeed, the most successful year in the club’s history winning the Heavy Woollen Cup, the Black Sheep Yorkshire playoff and ECB T20 in three weekends.
